Each headshot or portrait is a challenge. A photographer has to love that challenge. To prepare in advance for those moments is the correct thing to do, but not enough. He/she has to be completely present in front of the seater and interact positively with him/her in the studio or outdoors.
João is a friend of many years. We met in Miami in 2006, and frequently we meet at the Miami Design District, where he works, or in my studio, on NW 7th. Avenue and 49th Street. He just wrote his first book, a mix of reality and fiction. He has been fascinated all his life by mechanics and information technology, and the novel has lots of that.
